Trafigura has agreed buy oil and gas downstream assets in Argentina from Pampa Energia, the trading company said in a statement.
The assets were valued at $124.5m and Pampa also canceled $56m in debt it was owed from the Singapore-headquartered firm.
Trafigura paid $102.5m to Pampa on May 9. It had already paid $9m as down payment and deposited $13.5m in an escrow account, which will be released in line with the transfer of the assets.
