Carrefour Brasil has named
Noel Prioux its new CEO, replacing Charles Desmartis just months after the
retailer completed Brazil’s largest IPO of the year to date.
Desmartis has also vacated his seat on the board of directors, the French retail company said in a statement. Prioux takes the reins on October 2. Sebastien Durchon, vice president of
finance and investor relations, will fill in as temporary CEO until then, Carrefour said.
