Cencosud nets heavy demand, increases 2027 bond

Cencosud dipped into investor checkbooks for the tune of $1bn in 2027s, seizing on investor appetite to increase the trade from a planned $850m. Bank of America Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan started price talk in the mid-200bp area over US Treasuries and strong demand enabled the pair to reel this in to 220bp over Treasuries at guidance. The Chilean retailer's new bond launched at 210bp, on the tight end of guidance, and demand was sufficient enough to price the 2027 paper with a 4.375% c
