Actis said it has acquired two wind farms in northeast Brazil from local developer Casa dos Ventos for an undisclosed amount.The UK private equity firm will include the two projects as "seed assets" in the recently created platform Echoenergia. Both the 216 MW Sao Clemente project in Pernambuco and the 130 MW Tiangua project in Ceara are backed by 20-year power purchase agreements (PPAs), Actis said in a statement.Actis said it has created five energy platforms like Echoenergia in Latin America.
