IFC said it has agreed to lend $150m to Yara International to support fertilizer production and distribution in Brazil and Colombia.
Yara will use part of the proceeds to expand its production, warehousing and distribution facilities in Brazil and Colombia, IFC said in a statement. The Norwegian fertilizer company will also use the IFC funds to buy production plants in Zambia.
