Bancolombia raised $750m from a subordinated Tier Two 2027 bond in a bid to buy back 2020 and 2022 bonds, DCM bankers told LatinFinance. Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Citi and UBS started price talk in the low-to-mid 5% area before setting guidance in the 5% area. Orders swelled near $3bn, giving the leads a chance to tighten the yield to 4.875% at time of launch.
