Mexico’s Comision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) was forced sell its 30-year bond above initial price thoughts on Tuesday as US Treasury rates hit a seven-month high. The state-controlled power company sold the 6.125% $700m 2045 at a spread of 300bp over Treasuries, up from initial prices thoughts in the high 200s.
