Brazil’s central bank further cut cash reserve requirements and made adjustments to the capital rules on Wednesday. The loosening of the reserve requirements would push some BRL10bn ($4.42bn) into the financial system, the central bank said. At the same time, it adjusted risk-weighting rules, which mandate the amount of capital banks must hold against certain types of loans.
