Argentina’s Globant sits above listing price despite sell-off

Shares of US-listed Argentine companies took a hit on Thursday as investors digested the implications of the sovereign’s default, although some saw the resilience of shares in software company Globant, which listed recently, as a positive indicator. Shares of Argentine company Arcos Dorados, and those of Adecoagro and Globant, which are headquartered in Luxembourg but have substantial operations in Argentina, traded down on Thursday after the sovereign’s negotiations with holdout creditors ended
