Mexican microfinance lender Compartamos is set to gain around MXN300m ($23m) from the sale of two portfolios of overdue loans, Patricio Diez de Bonilla, chief financial officer of the bank’s parent company Gentera, told LatinFinance. Compartamos announced the sale of written-off loans from 2010, 2011 and 2013 in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.
