NML Capital on Monday said Argentina was refusing to negotiate a solution to debt leftover from 2005 and 2010 restructurings. Argentina’s payment to restructured bondholders due yesterday was blocked by US courts last week. Court decisions last month ruled the sovereign must reach a deal with holdout creditors, led by NML, before servicing restructured debt. Talks between the country and holdout creditors were expected to start on Friday, but NML said Argentina was unwilling to join discussions.
