Local currency funds see new outflows


Investors pulled money from emerging market local currency debt funds for the second consecutive week in the seven days to June 25, after two months of inflows, according to data from EPFR cited by RBS. Local currency bond funds saw outflows of 0.01% of assets under management and have seen outflows of 5.38% in 2014, according to Barclays. On the hard currency debt side, inflows slowed for the second week, to 0.1% of AUM, after inflows of 0.25% the previous week. Total inflows in 2014 are 1.44%
