AMX targets close to $2bn in global-peso sale

Mexican telecom America Movil could sell up to MXN25bn ($1.94bn) of global-peso notes this week, according to announcements from Moody’s, which assigned an A2 rating, and Standard and Poor’s, which gave it an A-, on Friday. The borrower could issue a five-year tranche of up to MXN10bn and a 10-year tranche of up to MXN15bn, the rating agencies said.
