Mexican petrochemical producer Mexichem is heard to be talking with banks about a $1.5bn club loan, LatinFinance understands. Pricing for the five-year transaction has not yet been set, according to people familiar with the revolving credit facility. The Mexican chemical and petrochemical firm closed a $1bn three-year revolver in September 2011.
