Eneva unveils capital plan

Brazilian thermal energy generator Eneva unveiled a large-scale plan to increase capital on Monday, including an equity injection from a parent company, debt restructuring and asset sales. The company, known as MPX until it was part-sold to E.ON last year, has struck a deal with lenders to extend its debt profile. BTG Pactual, Citi, HSBC and Itau have agreed to extend BRL600m of loans to Eneva by five years. The debt begins amortizing in 2017. The banks have also agreed to a BRL100m short term b
