BBVA Bancomer sold a $750m 2024 bond on Thursday, the biggest deal in a day that saw two other LatAm companies tapping the dollar market. Initial price thoughts ahead of the deal indicated a 185bp spread over US Treasuries. But with a book that was heard to be more than 4.5 times subscribed, lead managers BBVA, Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs brought the price in to 170bp over – equal to 4.501%.
