Costa Rica raises $1bn with long-term bond

Costa Rica has issued a 30-year $1bn bond at a 7.0% coupon, taking advantage of favorable market conditions and strong demand from investors, the country said on Wednesday. The sale was 4.5 times oversubscribed and around 300 investors placed orders, according to the Costa Rican government.
