Costa Rica president-elect Luis Guillermo Solis has appointed his economic team ahead of his swearing-in ceremony scheduled for May 15. Solis tapped his running mate Helio Fallas as finance minister. According to local media reports, Fallas has vowed to reduce the country’s budget deficit and improve tax collection.
