Banco do Brasil keeps lid on jumbo loan, adds banks

Banco do Brasil has elected not to increase the size of its syndicated loan, and is set to borrow $1bn via a $700m 3-year tranche and a $300m 4-year tranche, LatinFinance understands. The 3-year tranche pays 135bp over Libor and the 4-year tranche 150bp over Libor. The transaction has been heard to be heavily subscribed, and market talk last month suggested the borrower could increase the deal size as a result.
