Uruguay looking for chance to improve curve, says Bergara

Uruguay is on the lookout for opportunities to improve its debt curve, although it is not planning to issue bonds this year, finance minister Mario Bergara told LatinFinance. The country last tapped the markets in August when it sold a 4.5% $2bn 2024, yielding 4.521%, amid high interest from investors. It used some of the cash to retire $760m of outstanding paper.
