Comgas Debenture Hits Bump

Brazil’s securities regulator has suspended the domestic bond sale of Comgas, it says, due to public remarks made by a company official. The suspension is for up to 30 days and can be lifted if the issuer corrects the matter. The gas provider is targeting a BRL400m ($186m) deal, which includes a tranche qualifying for tax exemption under the infrastructure debenture law.
