Transelec has sold UF3.1m ($151m) in Chile's domestic bond market, to raise funds for refinancing short-term liabilities, according to people familiar with the deal. The power transmission company priced a 2042 bullet bond at 99.28, with a coupon of 3.95% to yield 3.99%, or 126bp wide to government bonds. The issue saw a bit more than 2x demand. Banchile-Citi and LarrainVial led the transaction, rated A+/A+/A+ on a national scale.
