Santander Chile Hits the Road

Chile Bonds

Banco Santander Chile is readying fixed-income investor meetings ahead of a possible return to the bond markets. Starting Tuesday in Lima, the bank will then meet accounts in Los Angeles, Boston and New York, finishing May 23. BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, and Santander are managing the process. A dollar deal would be Santander Chile’s first since 2012, when it printed a $750m 2022 with a 3.875% coupon to yield 4.079%, or UST+232.5bp. Those bonds were trading at a spread of UST+170b
