Transelec will look to issue up to UF3.1m ($149m) in Chile’s domestic bond
Transelec will look to issue up to UF3.1m ($149m) in Chile’s domestic bond market, say people familiar with the power transmission company’s plans. The borrower’s options are expected to be a 2018 tranche with a 3.70% coupon, a 3.95% 2038 tranche and a 3.95% 2042 tranche. Additional details are expected after the company holds an investor meeting Thursday. Rated A+/A+/A+ on a national scale, the proceeds are expected to be used for refinancing debt.
