Costa Rica has priced $1bn in new 12 and 30-year bonds, with investors putting in for more than $10bn in orders. The Baa3/BB/BB+ sovereign had indicated intentions to come to market since February, and tackled at once the full amount it is allowed to borrow internationally this year. A $500m 2025 tranche priced at par with a 4.375% coupon, to yield UST+266.9bp, the tight end of 4.50%-area guidance following 4.625%-area initial price thoughts.
