Brazil CDS were the most traded in EM in 4Q 2012, according to EMTA, with $24.20bn changing hands. This was down 44% from 4Q 2012 and 23% from 3Q 21012. Brazil's volume came out of a $142bn EM total, down 39% from 4Q 2011, and 33% from 3Q 2012. Argentina ($11.29bn) and Mexico ($11.26bn) Petrobras was the second-most traded of nine EM corporates EMTA tracks, with $984m in the trades during the quarter, second to Russia's Gazprom, which had $1.51bn. Vale was third with $562m.
