Francisco Crespo has been named president of Coca-Cola Mexico, Coca-Cola says. He takes the role vacated by Brian Smith, who became president of the Latin America Group. Crespo had been working as president for the business unit overseeing operations in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay. He has been with the company since 1989. John Murphy takes over his role, moving from his spot as president of the unit overseeing the central portion of LatAm.
