Santo Antonio Energia, the operator of a hydroelectric power plant on Brazil’s Rio Madeira river, has completed the raising of BRL420m ($206m) in domestic debt, according to Anbima. The 2022 inflation-linked debenture pays 6.20%. Itau arranged the transaction, done under the rule 476 restricted format. Santo Antonio is a consortium owned by Cemig (10%), Andrade Gutierrez (12.4%), Odebrecht Energia (18.6%), a fund linked to Caixa Economica Federal (20%) and Eletrobras’ Furnas unit (39%).
