A wind power project backed by Mexico’s Soriana has closed on a $51m 25-year loan. Compania Eolica de Tamaulipas (CETSA), an entity owned by Soriana, Mexican soft drink bottler Gemex and Swiss investment Grupo Ecos, is using the funds to construct the 54-megawatt $130m El Porvenir facility in Tamaulipas, Mexico.
