US Shop Leads as DCM Sees Strong Quarter

Citi finds itself at the top of the LatAm DCM tables for 1Q 2012, according to Dealogic, booking $8.52bn volume from 33 transactions. Despite pessimism at the beginning of the year, bond issuance in the region is off to a faster start than last year, with LatAm DCM volume reaching $54.1bn in 1Q, up 31% on the same period in 2011.
