In the week ended April 6, EM bond funds saw inflows of $898m, a 20-week high, says EFR Global, adding that two-thirds of the flows went to local currency mandates. Lipper data meanwhile, reveal that performance was positive in the week ended April 7 and year-to-date. EM debt funds are up 1.12% in the week and 2.69% ytd, global income funds are up 0.30% in the week and 1.74% ytd, and international income funds are up 0.24% in the week and 1.84% ytd.
