Ecuador’s Banco Pichincha is considering a dollar bond in the international markets this year, according to a source familiar with the bank’s plans. The issue is not yet well-defined, though the idea could be for a subordinated bond of around $100m, according to the source. Pichincha has issued shorter term dollar debt, according to the source, but has yet to issue long-term debt internationally.
