Conduit Sells Edegel Stake


New York-based private equity firm Conduit Capital says it has sold its 7% stake in Peruvian electric power company Edegel for $50m plus $20m in dividends up to the time of sale, gaining 3.3x the amount initially invested, which was about $21m. Israel's Inkia Energy, Conduit's partner in the project, bought the stake. Conduit managing partner George Osorio says Citi was Conduit's advisor on the sale. Inkia did not use outside advisors.
