Chile’s Invesco has offered to acquire local pension fund AFP Habitat for C
Chile’s Invesco has offered to acquire local pension fund AFP Habitat for CLP315bn ($585m), or CLP315 per share, according to a regulatory filing from Invesco unit Inversiones La Construccion. AFP Habitat’s major shareholder is local investment firm Inpresa, which holds an 80.5% stake. AFP Habitat’s shares dropped 0.19% to CLP390 on March 22, the day of the announcement of the offer. IM Trust is advising Invesco.
