Suzano Papel e Celulose is acquiring pulp and paper mill assets from rival Fibria Celulose for BRL1.45bn, according to the company. The assets, known as Conpacel, consist of pulp and paper mill output capacity of around 390,000 tons of paper and 650,000 tons of pulp per year, along with 76,000 hectares of land and 71,000 hectares of forest.
