Itau Succeeds, Bradesco Fails in Global BRL

Itau has raised BRL500m in a global real-denominated transaction, while Bradesco opted to delay a similar sale. Itau priced its 2015 bond at par with a 10.5% coupon, to yield in line with 10.5% area guidance. The bond traded up 0.50-0.75 points Tuesday afternoon, according to a trader. A majority of the issue went to institutional holders, they say, with significant participation from private banking accounts.
