At the end of September, year-to-date inflows into EM bond funds totaled $3
At the end of September, year-to-date inflows into EM bond funds totaled $39.5bn, shattering the $686m received in the same period in 2009, says EPFR Global. In Q3 2010 alone, inflows totaled $15.2bn. Meanwhile, Lipper data show the funds have been performing well with EM debt funds up 13.33% ytd and 1.36% in the week ended September 30. Global income funds are up 7.85% ytd and 0.74% in the week and international income funds are up 8.21% ytd and 1.51% in the week.
