EM bond funds’ inflows for the week ended August 26 add up to $303m, accord
EM bond funds’ inflows for the week ended August 26 add up to $303m, according to EPFR Global, which explains they are heavily weighted towards funds investing in local currency debt. This is the 20th straight week of inflows. Performance also shows progress, with EM debt funds up 0.44% for the week ended August 27 and 23.88% year-to-date. Global income funds are up 0.44% for the week and 10.87% ytd, and international income funds are up 0.56% for the week and7.97% ytd, Lipper data shows.
