Conduit Seeks Investors for Peru Pipeline


Conduit Capital, the infrastructure-focused private equity shop, is on the lookout for strategic partners to participate with equity in the $1.5bn Kuntur Peru gas transportation project. It is also preparing to begin raising some $900m in debt for the pipeline. The shop acquired a 30-year concession to build and operate the pipeline last year, and has hired Sumitomo Mitsui (SMBC) as financial advisor.
