Argentina’s Repsol YPF plans to issue $150m new bonds and borrow another $1
Argentina’s Repsol YPF plans to issue $150m new bonds and borrow another $150m. The loan will come from the Repsol's financing unit, Repsol Netherlands Finance. The bonds are part of an existing $1bn shelf. The plan marks a change of tack from the equity fundraising that had dominated the company’s plans this year. In August, YPF was heard targeting an IPO to raise up to $4bn, before conditions for equity issuance became prohibitive.
