Ecuador Will Pay Debt, Seeks Cheaper Options


Ecuador is looking to restructure its debt to cut interest payments, President Rafael Correa said during an appearance at the Council of the Americas in New York. In the meantime, he reiterated plans to meet 2007 and 2008 payments, and continue to pay as long as the country is able.
