There are no fundamentals for an agreement except the hope that the president will try to end her government without a default, however, I would ask Argentinians what they think about paying back their debt, it very well may not be popular, and if so, she won't do it. Her decisions are not based on ethics but on popularity; if she wished to, she could pay off the debt with the money that she and her late husband have stollen.
The increase in the price of argentinian debt is nothing but short term speculation.
