The 2nd Latin America China Investors Forum (LA-CIF)
Recent multi-billion dollar investments in Latin American institutions such as Petrobras, América Movil, Costa Rican Oil Refinery, Telemar, YPF and IDB are just some of the latest in a string of Chinese investments into Latin America as direct and indirect investors seek to access Latin America's outperforming assets. With China expected to maintain growth of 8.5% in 2010 boosted by announced investments totaling US$585bn, this demand is forecast to continue. Citing this rise in investment into Latin America from China and greater Asia, LatinFinance will hold the 2nd Latin America China Investors Forum (LA-CIF) on September 15th, 2010, in Beijing.
