LatinFinance’s chosen charity partner for this year is Proyecto Horizonte. This charity runs an integrated community development program in the outskirts of Cochabamba, Bolivia. With a staff of 75, it currently serves over 800 children and their families with primary/secondary education and health care. Proyecto Horizonte’s additional programs for local development include areas such as sports, the arts, microenterprise support, professional training and psychological support. Founded in 2004 Proyecto Horizonte has already made significant progress towards its goal of lifting the population of this impoverished and dangerous area to a lower middle class standard within one generation. The project costs USD 180,000 per year to run. Please help us to raise vital funds via direct donation and our charity auction on the night. For more information about the charity, please click here.
