About Makaia
MAKAIA works to improve the livelihoods of vulnerable populations and increase social and economic opportunities in Colombia and Latin America through the use of ICT (Information and communication technologies). Its reach is two-fold: it serves some of the most disadvantaged groups directly while strengthening the capacities of the organizations, social enterprises and local governments that work for them. As such, MAKAIA has a multiplier effect.
MAKAIA has supported more than 300 social organizations and non-profits and has reached than 18.000 people directly and indirectly.

Our ICT programs provide tools, content and training for people to develop their economic, educational, personal and health related opportunities. They also give other non-profits the tools and knowledge they need to serve their beneficiaries in an efficient and sustainable manner.
