Growth, efficiency, and high margins see Copa’s corporate management fly high above rivals

Panama-based airline group Copa Holdings is not only well-managed, it’s well located, to boot: at the center of Latin America.

A member of the global airline group Star Alliance, it has taken advantage of its geographical position to keep its business well in the air in a challenging industry. Copa has found ways to show investors positive results, despite the industry’s notoriously fickle, cost-sensitive customers, and despite volatile fuel prices.

Analysts cite its financial performance, lower-than-average risk, and its compliance with best practices as some of the factors that set it apart. It is the recipient of this award for its success as a niche airline with targeted plans for growth, high net income, low interest expenses and debt.
