Record First Half for Latin Debt

The six tranches Petrobras sold in its $11bn May blockbuster bond issue have driven LatAm DCM in the first six months of the year to its highest ever level, according to Dealogic. LatAm issuers raised $82.8bn in the debt market in the first half from 223 deals, including local currency domestic bond transactions.
