LatinFinance’s Deals of the Quarter Century Awards recognize the most impressive capital markets transactions in Latin America over the past 25 years – through good times and bad.

LatinFinance 's Deals of the Quarter Century Awards recognize the most impressive capital markets transactions in Latin America over the past 25 years - through good times and bad.

The awards will be selected by the editors of LatinFinance , based on:
> nominations from market participants
> in-house market research

Nominations
Nominations for transactions may be submitted to editorial@latinfinance.com , with "Deals of the Quarter Century" in the subject line. Nominations will be accepted until 5pm Eastern time, Friday May 31. We request that institutions nominate not more than two transactions per category.

LatinFinance is not soliciting pitches for these awards.

Selection
LatinFinance's editorial team will conduct its own research into the details and impact of each nominated transaction to decide on the winners in each category.

The final determinations will take into account a variety of factors including size, currency, tenor, significance, strategic importance, innovation, groundbreaking qualities, success/secondary market performance, and the deal's reception by peers and investors.

Winners
Awards winners will be announced in LatinFinance 's 25 th Anniversary souvenir edition, published in August 2013.

These awards are for transactions involving a Latin American issuer between January 1988 and May 2013.

> Best M&A deal

> Best local currency transaction
> Best infrastructure deal
> Best sovereign deal
> Best corporate deal
> Best bank deal
