People: Doebeli heads Lupatech

Brazilian oil services company Lupatech has hired Ricardo Doebeli as CEO, replacing Alexandre Monteiro, who has left the company. Doebeli joins from private equity firm GG Investimentos.

Brazilian oil services company Lupatech has hired Ricardo Doebeli as CEO, replacing Alexandre Monteiro, who has left the company. Doebeli joins from private equity firm GG Investimentos.

TIM Participações, Brazil’s second largest wireless operator, has named Rodrigo Abreu as its next CEO following the resignation of Andrea Mangoni. Mangoni, who was due to leave in early March, had been in the position since the departure in May 2012 of his predecessor, Luca Luciani, following a scandal over the use of irregular SIM cards at the Italian parent. Abreu has been CEO of Cisco do Brasil for seven years.

Nildemar Secches will resign as chairman of Brasil Foods. As chairman and CEO of Perdigão, Secches helped engineer the merger with fellow Brazilian poultry producer Sadia that created Brasil Foods in 2009. No successor has yet been named.
