Dennis Holtzapffel has joined Espirito Santo as head of LatAm DCM. He left Jefferies in March, where he had been head of EM debt capital markets and syndicate for two years.
Helio Lima Magalhaes has been appointed Citi’s chief country officer for Brazil He returns to Brazil and to Citi after 13 years with American Express. He will report to LatAm chief executive Francisco Aristeguieta. Magalhaes replaces Gustavo Marin, who had been in the job since 2005.
Crédit Agricole has appointed Danielle Baron as head of its Latin American project finance group. She will be a managing director based in New York. She previously held an executive director position working in project finance in London. Baron replaces Georges Romano.
